FOUNDER OF BEEWEIGHED SLIMMING GROUPS
Award winning
Lynda, the owner and founder of BEEWEIGHED Slimming Groups previously worked for a large weight loss organisation.  She decided to set her own groups up in 2019.  Since incorporation BEEWEIGHED has grown and meetings are opening in many locations  across Manchester and Cheshire that are held by herself or one of her leaders.
In 2019, 2021 and 2022 BEEWEIGHED won overall local business of the year in Denton.  Lynda and her  team are extremely proud to win this award that is presented  by Andrew Gwynne MP and his wife Counsellor Allison Gwynne.  In 2023 a special award was presented to Lynda given her meetings spread across several areas.
BRITISH EMPIRE MEDAL
During lockdown Lynda was running six regular meetings and had over 200 members at the time. Â She was concerned that her members would lose their focus during this difficult time therefore she hosted several Zoom meetings free of charge to help her members stay focused. Â
Because of this she was awarded a British Empire Medal and attended the Royal Garden Party in 2022.
CORONATION OF King Charles & QUEEN CAMILLA
Because of her being awarded her British Empire Medal she was also invited to the Coronation of King Charles & Queen Camilla.
Lynda is extremely honoured to have attended this historical event and still cannot believe she was invited.
